CLEVELAND,Ga. (March25, 2022) – The Truett McConnell University men's volleyball team hosted Edward Waters University on Friday, where the Bears late rally and set three proved not enough as they fell 3-0 (25-11, 25-15, 25-22).

The Bears put up a fight in set  one, featuring two Owen Nobles kills, one kill from Nathan Hill and two digs from Kaleb Mitchell. Set two saw TMU fall behind against the Tigers, but three Mitchell kills and two Jackson Adams kills with three digs kept TMU  competitive. Set three saw the Bears with a gain in momentum, forcing the game to be determined in final efforts from both teams. 

Up next, TMU will travel to Waleska, Ga. to face Reinhardt University on Saturday, March 26. Match time is set for 7:00 p.m.
