Box Score CLEVELAND, Ga. (October 26, 2022)- The No. 18 Truett McConnell University women's soccer team hosted Appalachian Athletic Conference foe, Brenau University, where the Lady Bears had a strong first half to capture a 6-0 victory. TMU rises to a record of 13-2-1, 12-0 AAC, while the Golden Tigers fall to 9-4-2, 7-3-2 AAC.

In the first period, the Lady Bears were quick on their feet with their first goal from Eliska Dvorakova, assisted by Sydney League (1-0). In the fourth minute, Dvorakova scored her second goal, assisted by Nadiia Ivanchenko (2-0), while goal number three came from Dvorakova, assisted by League in the 21st minute (3-0). The Lady Bears continued to add to their lead with a goal from Kendra Wilbert, assisted by Lindsey Fowler and Annabel Kesinger (4-0). A goal from Wilbert, assisted by Kesinger came in the final minutes of the half, sending the Lady Bears into the half ahead 5-0.
In the second period, the Lady Bears continued to take shots, while playing stellar defense to prevent the Golden Tigers from closing the deficit. A shot on goal from Lyndsey Darden and Sydney League carried the momentum, where two shots on goal from Kayla Boggess set the stage. In the 89th minute, Marisol Esparza, assisted by Sarah Currey, scored the final goal of the evening, leaving TMU to record a 6-0 victory over the Golden Tigers.
LEADERS
Dvorakova led the way with a hat trick of three goals, along with five shots, five on goal. Wilbert tallied two shots, two on goal, and two goals. League recorded two assists on the day, while Currey, Ivanchenko, and Fowler recorded one assist apiece.

The Lady Bears travel to Laurinburg, N.C. on Saturday, October 29 for their final AAC game of the regular season against St. Andrews University. Kickoff is set for 12:30 p.m.
