TOCCOA, Ga. (Mar. 17, 2021) – The Truett McConnell University women's volleyball team picked up their fourth consecutive sweep, fifth consecutive win, on Wednesday evening at Toccoa Falls College (25-20, 25-14, 25-19). The Lady Bears improved to 18-5, 14-5 AAC on the season, while the Screaming Eagles fell to 13-9.

A 5-0 scoring run gave the Lady Bears their largest lead of the first set (20-13) in route to claim their first win of the night on a pair of kills from
Ranavia Neal and
Bethany Ross (25-20). The second set saw TMU's most dominating performance with the Lady Bears going on a 14-2 run, which ultimately allowed a double-digit win (25-14). Toccoa picked up the pace in the third set tying it up later in the set (15-15), but the Lady Bears pulled away for good on back-to-back kills by
Jordan Roberts to clinch their fourth straight sweep (25-19).
LEADERS
Neal carried the offense with 13 kills, while Roberts followed with 10 kills and Ross added nine.
Sonya Silecky led defensively with 12 digs with the addition of four kills and four service aces.
Hannah Conners added 10 digs, while fellow senior
Abby Maxwell had nine digs and was credited 37 assists. Freshmen
Madyson Dunn tallied six digs,
Rachel Kessler had five digs and
Katie Williamson added four kills.

The Lady Bears will host No. 15 Keiser University twice on Saturday, March 20, at 9:00 a.m., and 11:00 a.m., for their regular season finale before playing in the Appalachian Athletic Conference Tournament on Wednesday, March 14.
