GRAYSON, Ky. (October 2, 2021) – The Truett McConnell University women's soccer traveled Saturday to face Appalachian Athletic Conference opponent, Kentucky Christian University. The Lady Bears won in dominating fashion, increasing their win streak to six, with a score of 6-0. The Lady Bears rose to a record of 9-1, 6-0 AAC. The Lady Knights fell to a record of 0-10, 0-6 AAC.

In the first period, the goal one came in the 5th minute from
JK Hughes (1-0). Not long after,
Natalie Alamri took her chance at the goal in the 35th minute (2-0), followed by a goal from
Amayia Lukie, assisted by Alamri, which allowed TMU to end the first period up 3-0. In the second period, it took
Ruffa Meger, assisted by
Eliska Dvorakova, less than a minute to score for the Lady Bears (4-0). In the 49th minute, Dvorakova scored a goal of her own to separate the Lady Bears for good (5-0). The final goal of the afternoon, came from
Kendra Wilbert in the 72nd minute, claiming a Lady Bears 6-0 victory over the Knights.
LEADERS
The Lady Bears outshot the Lady Knights 37, 32 on-goal, opposed to the Knights 2 shots on goal.
Dvorakova led the way with eight shots, seven on goal, one goal and one assist. Meger each had one goal and three shots, three on goal.
Hannah Logue followed with five shots, five on goal. Hughes had a goal of her own, followed by Alamri who had one goal, one assist and two shots. Lukie and Wilbert recorded one goal apiece, while goalie
Emelie Taylor had two saves on the day.
