COLUMBIA, S.C. (October 13, 2021) – The Truett McConnell University women's soccer traveled Wednesday to face Appalachian Athletic Conference opponent Columbia College, where the Lady Bears dominated and increased their win streak to nine, after securing a 5-0 victory over the Fighting Koalas. TMU improved to a record of 12-1, 9-0 AAC, while the Columbia fell to a record of 8-4, 7-3 AAC.
According to the latest NAIA National Top 25 Poll, the Lady Bears are now sitting at No. 20.

The Lady Bears dominated on offense for the duration of the game. The first goal was shot from the foot of
Hannah Logue, assisted by
Sydney League, in the 10th minute (1-0). League followed immediately, scoring the second goal of the game, with an assist by Logue in the 11th minute (2-0).

Ruffa Meger and
Natalie Alamri individually recorded shots throughout the first period, adding pressure to the home team's defense. In the second period, Dvorakova struck with the third goal in the 67th minute (3-0). In the 76th minute, Logue struck with her second goal of the day, was assisted by
Kristin Beasley and League (4-0). The final goal of the afternoon came from
Emily Crowder in the 84th minute to secure a 5-0 victory over the Fighting Koalas.
LEADERS
League had an impressive afternoon with two shots, two on goal, one goal and two assists. Logue had four shots, four on goal and two goals, respectfully. Dvorakova had seven shots on the day, with two on goal and one goal, while Crowder recorder her first goal of the season. Goalie

Due to unfortunate circumstances, TMU's match-up between Union College has been postponed. The Lady Bears are back inside the TMU Soccer/Lacrosse Complex Wednesday, Oct. 20, where they will face Reinhardt University in an AAC match-up. Kickoff set for 5:00 p.m.
