BABSON PARK, Fla. (Dec. 17, 2019) – The Truett McConnell University men's basketball team traveled to Webber University, a member of the Sun Conference, for a nonconference NAIA matchup on Tuesday evening. The Bears lost to the Warriors 116-77 to fall to 6-7, 2-6 AAC on the season.

TMU stayed within single digits of the Warriors throughout the first 10 minutes of regulation. However, Webber took off in the final nine minutes before halftime outscoring the visiting Bears 34-10 to earn a 30-point lead at the half (31-60). The Bears went on to only get outscored by nine in the second half (46-55). In fact, the Warriors got out front by as many as 44 points but
Tommy Wandrum scored once in the paint and followed up with his first career 3-pointer with three seconds remaining to allow cut the final deficit to 39.

Most notable, the Warriors made a total of 19 3-pointers; 10 in the first half and nine in the second. TMU made 11 3-pointers themselves with
Marlon Allen and Darius going 4-for-7 from behind the arc.

Allen led all scorers with 20 points on the night.
Enocka Franky recorded a double-double of 19 points and 10 rebounds. Thrower added 12 points and
Xavier Latore had 11.
Cristian Colon had a career high of nine assists, while
Brent Kelly was credited five himself.
