Lacrosse Falls to AAC Rival Reinhardt University, 4-20

CLEVELAND, GA. | The Truett McConnell lacrosse team fell to AAC foe Reinhardt University, 20-4, Tuesday afternoon in Cleveland, Ga.

Despite the lopsided score, the Bears fought tough with the Eagles. Kaitlinn Kubin dominated scoring three out of TMU's four goals while teammate Olivia Godfrey contributed with one goal respectively.

Head Coach Hoyt Channing commented, "After our game was postponed Saturday, the ladies were excited to play a conference game against Reinhardt. Knowing they were going to have a strong showing we agreed on playing the best lacrosse that we knew we could."
"Reinhardt got up fast on some off ball cuts to the cage. We focused on playing sound individual defense to slow them down. Proud of how the ladies reacted and immediately made changes. Offensively we tried our best to create opportunities while still valuing possession. We had many good looks at the cage. I was proud of the midfielders for getting up and down the field with a single sub to turn to for rest. Our seniors also brought a great deal of field generalship to our ladies as they battled on."

TMU will get back on the field as they host Keiser University tomorrow (Saturday) at 2 p.m.
