BLUEFIELD, VA. |    The Lady Bears traveled to Bluefield Virginia this past Saturday to take on Bluefield College trying to seek another conference victory. Although senior Anna Murr lead TMU offensively with a career high of 25 points, it wasn't enough to take down the rams. The TMU women's basketball team lost in competition against Bluefield 53-60. 

The Bears and Rams battled the entire first half with a close score 26-27, with Bluefield up by one going into halftime. Starting the third quarter, the Rams took the lead outscoring the Lady Bears 18-8 for the period. The Lady Bears started out the fourth quarter with one of Murr's six three pointers of the night. Although the Lady Bears outscored the Rams in the final period 19-15, it was not enough to seal the win. 

Head Coach Tiek Fields commented, "We are improving and competing until the end. As a group we will keep working on getting better as individuals, because we are seeing flashes of what we can do on the floor."

The Lady Bears will be back home this upcoming Tuesday in the Bear Cave to take on Brenau University. Tip off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
