Cleveland, Ga. | The Truett McConnell University volleyball team matched up with Point University Tuesday night at the Bearcave. The Lady Bears would fall short to Point, 0-3, falling to 0-9 on the season and 0-4 in AAC play.
Point University came out strong and controlled the first two sets with scores of 25-11 and 25-12. Going into the third set, the Lady Bears would make a push in taking the third set, but Point University would pull away and take the set and match, 25-17.
Harris Ann Walker led the way with 5 kills as well as
Heaven Walker,
Olivia Beasley, and Shayla Smith who also contributed 3 kills.
With much of the season left to play, the Lady Bears will look to get back on track as they head on the road to Columbia, SC, to take on Allen University.
