CLEVELAND | The Truett McConnell lacrosse team fell in the season finale to No. 8 Columbia, 26-4, Tuesday afternoon in Cleveland. The Bears finish the season 1-14 overall.

Kaitlynn Kubin and McKenzie Noggle scored one goal each, while Olivia Godfrey put two in the back of the net. Emily Shamblin made 11 saves in the game for TMU.

The Bears finished in eighth place in the conference this year. Only the top five teams make the conference tournament, so the Bears will not compete in the tournament.
