CLEVELAND | The Truett McConnell lacrosse team fell to Marian University, 19-3, Wednesday afternoon at the TMU Lacrosse Complex.

Marian jumped out to a big lead early in the first half. With time winding down in the half, Kaitlynn Kubin got the Bears on the scoreboard off a free position shot that made the score 15-1 going into the break.

The Bears and Knights settled in in the second half with only six goals going on the board in the frame. Bailey Gentry scored her first collegiate goal in the 53rd minute, and Olivia Godfrey scored with just a few seconds left in the contest.

The Bears will travel to Huntsville, Alabama, to take on NCAA Division II Alabama-Huntsville on Friday at 3 p.m. EST (2 p.m. CST).
