The Bears didn't cool off much in the second half as they shot 40 percent from the field in the second half after shooting 60 percent in the first half.
Â
Head Coach Yeh complimented, "We got off to a great start with our pressure, which allowed us to play everyone on the roster meaningful minutes in front of a fabulous Homecoming crowd. We were a little sloppy at times, but I thought we were much more disciplined in the second half. Our non-conference schedule has allowed us to experiment with some different line-ups and rotations, and I think our guys are ready for the challenge of conference play next week."
Senior Mario Westbrook lead TMU offensively with 15 points in the paint while Ange Badji pitched in 14 and David Campbell JR. added 13.
Myles Monroe and
Christian Davis also contributed with a 12 piece game to help seal the win for Homecoming.Â
The Bears will jump into conference play on the road against AAC rival Milligan College on Tuesday Night. Tip off time is set for 7:30 p.m
