Cleveland, Ga. | The Truett McConnell University volleyball team traveled to West Point, GA to take on Point University in AAC play. They fell on the road in three sets to Point as the Lady Bears fell to 0-12 on the season and 0-7 in the AAC. 

Point would come out strong and take the first set from the Lady Bears 25-14. In the second set, the Lady Bears would get rolling early and go up 8-4. Point would fight back, but the Lady Bears momentum would put them up 14-8. From there, Point would take command of the set and win the second set by a score of 25-22. The Lady Bears would fall in the third set 25-10 as Point would take the third set and match.

Shayla Smith led the team in kills with 9 as well Harris Anne Walker with 6. Abby Maxwell would add to the Lady Bears efforts with 21 assists. 

The Lady Bears will play at home on October 6th against Montreat College at 6:30 PM in the Bear Cave.
