Lady Bears Lacrosse Recap

The Lady bears played at home this afternoon against the Panthers from Ferrum College.

Kaitlynn Kubin led the Lady Bears with three goals on the day, followed by one goal each from Aoife O'Gorman and Rachel Brown. Olivia Godfrey and Rachel Brown led the team in groundballs while Mckenzie Noggle and Katilynn Kubin led in caused turnovers. Goalie Emily Shamblin played an impressive game with 18 saves on the day.

"The girls did an excellent job today," said Head Coach Rachel Evans. "We managed to beat every single one of our game goals that we set before the game. I am very proud of the girls for making all of their goals and I am looking forward to the rest of our season."

With this loss, the Lady Bears are 0-3 overall on the season and 0-1 in conference play. The Lady Bears will travel to Columbia, South Carolina this Monday to take on AAC rival Columbia College. The game is scheduled to begin at 4:00 PM.
