Lady Bears Fall To Reinhardt At Home

Box Score The Lady Bears took on the Reinhardt Eagles last night at home looking for another conference victory. At the end of the first quarter, the Lady Bears trailed the Eagles by one point. A good three point shot from freshman Ashley Roby tied the game up 26-26 with 3 minutes to go in the second quarter. The Lady Bears went into halftime up by a score of 30-26.

Both teams came out of the locker room looking to secure the victory and battled back and forth until the last 30 seconds of the game. A turnover from the Bears with 3 seconds to go in the 4th quarter secured the win for the Eagles. The Lady Bears ended the night on the wrong side of a 66-65 loss.

"I am proud of our team's effort tonight," said Head Coach Chad Hibdon. "We did a great job in building a lead but we just did not make enough plays down the stretch to secure the victory."

Senior Rhande Haskett led the Lady Bears offensively and defensively pouring in 25 points and grabbing 14 rebounds on the night. Freshmen Claudia Hester (10 points) and Ashley Roby (8 points) also had impressive offensive showings for the Lady Bears.
