Men's Basketball Falls To Reinhardt

Box Score The Men's Basketball team played at home yesterday afternoon against the Eagles from Reinhardt College. Both teams battled back and forth for a majority of the first half until going into the locker room tied 39-39. After halftime adjustments, both teams came out of the locker room looking to secure the win, but it was the Eagles who came out on top by a score of 88-80.

Andretti Loyd led the Bears offensively with 18 points and 4 assists on the night. Darius McNear led the Bears defensively with 11 rebounds, in addition to his 16 points on the night. Xavier Holland (11 points), JR Hurst (11 points), and Trae Jackson (10 points) also had impressive offensive showings for the Bears overall.

With this loss, the Bears drop to 8-19 overall on the season and 4-12 in conference play. The Bears are back in action this Wednesday, February 17th, to take on the Skyhawks from Point University in West Point, Georgia. The game is scheduled to tip-off at 7:30 PM.
