WALESKA, Ga. | The Truett McConnell women's soccer team took No. 19 Reinhardt to the limit, holding them scoreless through regulation in the final match of the regular season, but the Eagles found a goal in the opening minute of overtime to win, 1-0, Saturday night.
The Bears were held to just five shots on the night, but goalie
Lexi Kent had five saves through 90 minutes of play. In the opening minute of play in overtime, Reinhardt drew a penalty kick and converted to win the match.
The Bears will now await the AAC tournament bracket to be released tomorrow.
