TIGERVILLE, S.C. | The Truett McConnell men's soccer team defeated NCAA Division II opponent North Greenville Thursday night, 2-1. The Bears finish the regular season 8-8 overall.

The scoring started in the 25th minute when Ignacio Perez netted his second goal of the season to put the Bears up, 1-0. Just over a minute later, North Greenville tied it back up and held the tie up to late in the match.

The game winning goal came in the 84th minute by Frederico Divino. The Bears faced two more attacks by the Crusaders but did not allow a goal.

TMU outshot NGU 20-7 in the contest. Now, the Bears will wait to see where they will be seeded in the upcoming AAC Tournament, which will be announced at the conclusion of Saturday's matches.
