CLEVELAND | The Truett McConnell men's soccer team fell to the 11th-ranked team in the nation, Bryan College, 4-0, Tuesday afternoon at the TMU Soccer Complex. The Bears are now 6-7 overall and 2-5 in AAC play.
Brad Spooner scored the first three goals for the Lions starting in just the fourth minute of play. He also scored in the 61st and 62nd minutes of play to put Bryan up, 3-0.
Charlie Clarke scored the final goal of the contest in the 76th minute of play.
The Bears went shot for shot with the Lions, putting 12 shots toward goal and six on goal. Bryan put 13 shots up with 10 going on goal.
TMU will have a week off before going back into AAC play on the road against Montreat on October 19. Kickoff for that match is scheduled for 1 p.m.
