Bears Soccer ties with Bob Jones University

CLEVELAND, Ga. (TMSports) – The Truett-McConnell College Bears Soccer team tied 1-1 with Bob Jones University, October 3.

Having played two games in a three day span, Bears head coach, Damien Westfield, said he's "proud of his players for battling out the entire one hour and ten minute overtime game."

"The boys demonstrated a level of competitiveness, pride, and passion that I have not seen during my two years at Truett," he said.

A worthy opponent and well coached team, the Bruins never let up. "Overall, I believe the final score was the right one and indicative of the efforts of both teams that night."

The Bears current record is 5-4-1. They will meet Toccoa Falls College on their home field, October 5. For more info, visit tmcbears.com.
